안녕하세요, 카카오입니다.

카카오맵 API를 더 편리하고 유용하게 이용하실 수 있도록 이용 절차를 개선하고, 신규 API 4종을 추가했습니다.

이제 별도의 신청 또는 심사없이 카카오맵 API를 이용할 수 있으며, 신규 API를 활용해 이동 경로를 안내하거나 원하는 위치의 지도 이미지를 제공할 수 있습니다.

카카오맵 API 이용 절차 개선

카카오디벨로퍼스의 [앱] > [제품 설정] > [카카오맵]에서 [사용 설정]을 활성화하면, 별도의 추가 기능 신청이나 관리자 심사 없이 카카오맵 API를 이용할 수 있습니다.

개발자 계정에서 처음 카카오맵 API를 활성화한 앱은 무료 쿼터 범위에서 바로 사용할 수 있습니다. 두 번째 활성화 앱부터 또는 무료 쿼터를 초과해 사용하는 경우에는 비즈월렛 연결과 유료 API 사용 설정이 필요합니다.

We have improved the Kakao Map API usage process and added four new APIs so that you can use Kakao Map APIs more conveniently and effectively.

You can now use Kakao Map APIs without a separate request or review. The new APIs allow you to provide routes for different modes of transportation and static map images for specified locations.

  • Get public transit routes
  • Get walking routes
  • Get bicycle routes
  • Get static maps

Improved Kakao Map API usage process

You can use Kakao Map APIs without requesting additional features or undergoing administrator review by enabling the Kakao Map API under [App] > [Product Settings] > [Kakao Map] in Kakao Developers.

The first app in a developer account to activate the Kakao Map API can use it immediately within the free quota. From the second activated app, or when exceeding the free quota, you must connect a Biz Wallet and set up paid API.
