안녕하세요, 카카오입니다.

서비스 보안 강화와 이용 편의성을 향샹을 위해, 2025년 12월 3일, 카카오디벨로퍼스 앱 키 구조가 개편될 예정입니다.

이에 따라 몇 가지 변경 사항이 있어 사전 안내드립니다.

적용 일자

  • 2025년 12월 3일 수요일 오후

변경 대상

  • 카카오디벨로퍼스 앱 키 구조

  • 앱 키 설정 위치

  • 제품 이용을 위한 링크 설정 위치

  • 카카오톡 공유/카카오톡 메시지 사용을 위한 스킴 설정 방법

변경 사항

  • 4종의 앱 키(REST API 키, JavaScript 키, 네이티브 앱 키, 어드민 키)를 설정할 수 있었던 [앱 키] 메뉴가,
    호출 환경과 목적에 따라 [플랫폼 키]와 [어드민 키] 메뉴로 구분되어 제공됩니다.
    ⤷ 4종의 앱 키는 변경 없이 그대로 사용할 수 있습니다.

  • 앱에 저장한 환경 설정을, 각 키(REST API 키, JavaScript 키, 네이티브 앱 키, 어드민 키)에 저장할 수 있습니다.

  • 앱당 동일한 종류의 키를 최대 5개까지 생성할 수 있습니다.

  • 기존 [플랫폼] 메뉴에서 관리하던 정보는 목적에 따라 다른 위치에서 설정합니다.

    • 카카오 제품 이용을 위한 링크 정보는 신규 메뉴인 [제품 링크 관리]에서 관리할 수 있습니다.
    • API 호출을 위한 플랫폼 정보(웹, iOS, Android) 는 신규 메뉴인 [플랫폼 키]에서 관리할 수 있습니다.

조치 사항

  • 개편 후에도 기존에 사용 중인 키와 링크 정보는 유지되어, 별도로 조치할 사항은 없습니다.

변경된 서비스를 보다 쉽게 이용하실 수 있도록, 개편일에 자세한 내용과 함께 다시 한 번 안내드리겠습니다.

To enhance service security and user convenience, we are renewing the Kakao Developers App Key structure on December 3, 2025.

Please review the upcoming changes in advance for your service operations.

Effective Date

  • Wednesday, December 3, 2025 (afternoon, KST)

Main Changes

  • App key structure on Kakao Developers

  • Setting pages for app keys

  • Link setting pages for product integrations

  • How to set schemes for Kakao Talk Share / Kakao Talk Message

Details

  • The [App Key] menu, which previously managed four types of keys (REST API Key, JavaScript Key, Native App Key, Admin Key), will be provided as [Platform Keys] and [Admin Key] menus, separated by environment and purpose.
    ⤷ The four types of keys will remain unchanged and available.

  • You can now save the environment settings to each individual key (REST API Key, JavaScript Key, Native App Key, Admin Key), whereas they were previously stored globally within the app.

  • You can now generate up to five keys of the same type per app.

  • Information previously managed in the [Platform] menu will be configured in different locations based on its purpose:

    • You can manage link information used for Kakao products in the new [Product Link] menu.
    • You can manage platform information for API calls (Web, iOS, Android) in the new [Platform Key] menu.

Action Required

  • No action is required. All existing keys and link information will be retained after the update.

We will provide a detailed notice again on the renewal date to help you use the improved features.
