Hello Kakao/PlayMCP team,
I am a developer based in Türkiye. I created a valid Kakao Account using my Turkish mobile number (+90) and I am over 14 years old.
During PlayMCP onboarding, I receive the following message:
“If you are 14 years old or older, please verify your identity and try again.”
My Kakao Account birthday is correctly registered, but Korean carrier-based identity verification is not available to me because I am not a Korean resident and do not have a Korean mobile subscription.
Could you please confirm the supported onboarding method for overseas developers?
Specifically, is there:
- alternative identity/age verification for foreign developers,
- passport or manual verification,
- account approval/whitelisting,
- or another official route to register and publish an MCP server on PlayMCP?
Our intention is to develop legitimate MCP services connecting Türkiye and Korea.
