[Overseas Individual Developer] Kakao Login email permission waiver request (App ID: 1565222)

Hello Kakao Developer Team,

I am an individual developer based in India operating Vission Workspace (https://vissionworkspace.online), an online study and productivity workspace for students worldwide, including South Korea.

I want to enable Kakao Login for Korean users. However, since I am an overseas individual developer located in India:

1. I do not have a Korean mobile phone or Korean Alien Registration Number (ARC) for domestic identity verification.

2. I do not have a D-U-N-S corporate number as an individual developer.

Could you please grant an overseas identity verification waiver for my app so that I can enable the ‘account_email’ consent item for Kakao Login?

Hello,

Email functionality requires business app verification.

There are two available methods for verifying a business app:

  1. Business Verification: Developers can verify their business using Korean business registration documents or a D-U-N-S Number.

  2. Individual Developer Verification: Individual developers in Korea can verify their business app through Korea’s identity verification system.

Unfortunately, as you mentioned, we do not currently offer any alternative verification methods beyond these two options.
