카카오디벨로퍼스 운영정책 제7조에 따라, 2026년 2월 8일부터 장기 미이용 앱은 아래와 같이 처리될 예정입니다.
운영정책 제7조(장기 미이용 앱에 대한 처리)
카카오는 회원이 등록한 앱이 연속하여 6개월 이상 서비스 요청을 하지 않는 경우 서비스의 안정성 확보를 위하여 별도 고지 후 회원의 회원정보에 등록된 앱 정보를 삭제할 수 있습니다.
아래 내용을 참고하시어 서비스 이용에 불이익이 없도록 유의하시기 바랍니다.
대상
- 장기 미이용 앱: 6개월간 API를 호출하지 않거나, 카카오디벨로퍼스에서 한번도 앱 설정을 변경하지 않은 앱
시행 일자
- 2026년 2월 8일
처리 절차

시행일(2026년 2월 8일)로부터 6개월간 API 호출이 없거나 앱 설정을 변경하지 않은 앱은 [장기 미이용] 상태로 변경됩니다.
- 장기 미이용 앱으로 상태 변경 시, 앱 정보에 장기 미이용 상태 표시

[장기 미이용] 상태로 변경된 후 6개월간 API를 호출하지 않거나 앱 변경 이력이 없는 경우, 앱이 삭제됩니다.
- 중요: 삭제한 앱은 복구할 수 없으니 주의합니다.
조치 사항
- 앱을 계속해서 사용하려면 카카오디벨로퍼스의 앱 관리 페이지에 접속해 장기 미이용 상태를 해제할 수 있습니다.

In accordance with Article 7 of the Kakao Developers Operating Policies, long-term unused apps will be handled as described below starting February 8, 2026.
Article 7 (Handling of Long-Term Unused Apps)
If your registered app has not requested for more than six(6) months in a row, Kakao may delete information of the app registered in your membership information to ensure service stability after a separate notification.
Please review the details below to avoid any inconvenience in using the service.
Target
- Long-Term Unused Apps: No API call history for the last 6 months or no app settings change history on Kakao Developers
Effective Date
- February 8, 2026
Handling Procedure

Apps with no API calls for 6 months from the effective date (February 8, 2026) will be changed to the [Long-term inactive] status.
- When the status changes to a long-term inactive app, displays the Long-term inactive status in App information.

If there are no API calls or no app change history for 6 months after being changed to the [Long-term inactive] status, the app will be deleted.
- Important: Deleted apps cannot be restored.
Required Actions
- To continue using an app, visit the App Management page on Kakao Developers and reactivate the app.
