Dear Dev Team,
I have several doubts regarding the integration of Kakao, and I will explain everything here. Please read it and guide me.
We have successfully integrated several messaging platforms, including WhatsApp, SMS, Facebook, Line, WeChat, and Zalo, into our software. Now, we are interested in adding Kakao to our list of supported platforms.
Our objective is to seamlessly receive messages from Kakao and send messages to Kakao within our software.
To begin the integration process, I have created a personal account within the Kakao developer console and registered an app.
I want the flow to be such that when the user scans the QR code, it should redirect to the chat window of my app’s account, allowing the user to start messaging. How can I achieve this?
I am still confused about which is the best service for my purpose. Is it the Bizz app, the business channel, or something else? Which one would be best suited for my needs?
Now, if it is the Bizz App, I have another problem. I am from India and do not have a Korean registration number. So, how can I switch my app to Bizz App without a Korean business registration number?
Another doubt I have is regarding sending messages to users. In the other platforms, we use a server-side access token. Is it possible to do the same in Kakao? If yes, how can I obtain a server-side access token?
What about incoming messages sent by users to the app? How can I listen for that event so that I can take the necessary action when I receive a new message?
I kindly request that you reply to all my queries in the best way possible, providing detailed guidance for each question.
Thank you for your assistance.
