Inquiry about the phone number format

Hi Kakao Moment support,

I would like to confirm what are the valid formats for the phone number when sending personalized messages using the PHONE_NUMBER receiver type?

It looks like we can omit the region code for Korean domestic phone numbers, but not for those of other countries. Does Kakao require the phone numbers to comply with the E.164 standary? Or is there a validation lib we can use?

Hi,
You can register it in 164 format. If you want to enter other countries’ phone number, enter it in 164 format including the country code. There is no separate verification library. thank you!
