We are a part of the development team in Sapient Razorfish which is a part of Publicis group. We are currently developing the Bridgestone’s website for Korea.
There is a requirement of integrating Kakao map services for locating the Bridgestone stores and finding the directions of the stores. We went through the official documents regarding Kakao JavaScript API but we could not find some of the functionalities.
So, could you please help us on few points which are required in our implementation.
Following are the points on which we are currently stuck on.
We need to show direction from a user entered location to a particular Bridgestone store. After going through the docs, we found out that there is a way of showing directions from 1 point to another in Kakao maps website. But we want to have our own interface and get the data regarding the direction between the points. Is there any API for direction in which you can aid us on?
We also need to put the custom texts on the markers on the map. We could not find a way to set a text on the marker through the code. Could you help us on how to add some text on the markers?
