We are building a Microsoft Bot which receives message from the KakaoTalk user and sends reply messages back to the same Kakao talk user. I have went through following website as a reference to create a Direct Line channel which would be connected to KakaoTalk throgh Kakao Plus Friends.
But as per the website, “KakaoTalk API generates an error if there is no response within 5 seconds. It’s a chat, but the 5 second timeout is harsh. If you go to the bot through the bot connector, go to LUIS service, or even have a backend service, it may take a timeout. In fact, the administrator is getting an error message that seems to be caused by the timeout. And there’s no way to look for the cause.”
Is there any REST API support or a way to send push messages to the Kakao Talk user as a reply from the bot that doesn’t have 5 seconds limitation?
